Spokane County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer Program

Description

The Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) is a nonprofit legal assistance program of the Spokane County Bar Association (SCBA). The VLP strives to help low-income community members (within 200% of the FPL) help themselves with civil legal matters by providing legal education through clinics, classes, and in-court volunteers. The VLP's primary focus is Family Law, but the program also assists with certain housing, consumer, and bankruptcy issues. The VLP operates out of Spokane County, but also helps in Pend Oreille, Ferry, Stevens, Adams, Grant, Lincoln, and Whitman counties.
